The artist is Arnautov
From 1925 to 1963, Arnautov lived in San Francisco. In the early 1930s he taught at the California Art School, since 1936 for 25 years-at the Faculty of Art and Architecture of Stanford University. In the 1930s he took part in the painting of the Bashni. The picture with the view of the city was written in 1944, during this period, Arnautov headed the Russian-American society to assist the Red Army.
