In the film “Return to the ashes. 40s »Peter Ossovsky writes a cold desert of the burned skeletons of houses in the snow. A large female figure, wandering barefoot on the road, is approaching a black silhouette on the bloody glow of sunset. Her shawl hangs like a broken wing – she is an angel of death over this mass grave. Native places, tormented by war, burned villages and cities, empty houses – the terrible result of the war excited the authors decades after the victory.
